Waze & Odyssey and Tommy Theo have released the music video for their latest track ‘Always’, which is built around the iconic vocals from George Michael and Mary J. Blige’s 1999 cover of a Stevie Wonder classic.
Directed by Nelson De Castro (George Ezra, Carly Rae Jepsen), the kaleidoscopic visual has been created to bring the original concept of the 1999 hit to a new generation of music lovers.
The visual, which is packed with high-energy choreography, pays homage to the effects used in the original video, which featured hundreds of George and Marys in a club. Whilst the new visual focuses on dancers in a cafe, the original video can be seen being played on a TV in the background.

‘Always’ now lists George Michael and Mary J. Blige as credited artists on the track and has been given the seal of approval from all artist camps for the first time in musical history. The track was recently added to Radio 1’s playlist, and has been rejuvenated into a summer banger which you’ll be hearing a lot more of over the coming months.
‘Always’ is available to download and stream here.
