Patricia Clarkson took her diet to the extreme for this awards season, notably, the 2019 Golden Globes. According to Us Weekly, Patricia told reporters that she was more exhausted than usual, considering the Golden Globe itself weighs more than she does.
She added, “I’m not kidding you cause I haven’t eaten in, like, 10 days.” As you may know, Patricia took home the accolade for “Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series, Or Motion Picture Made for Television,” for her portrayal of Adora Crellin in Sharp Objects, broadcasted by HBO.
During a conversation with Us Weekly, she added, “my favorite moment was winning!” and when she got the win, she said to Amy Adams that she loved her over and over again. While many people have hoped Sharp Objects would return for another season, it’s, unfortunately, a limited series.

In celebration of her win, said that she was going to “eat now and drink.” Clarkson and her cast and crew members were nominated for a few different accolades, including “Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series or a Motion Picture Made For Television” for Amy Adams, as well as “Best Television Limited Series or Motion Picture Made For Television.”
Later on, the outlet once again caught up with Clarkson in the press room where she said she would be “bolognese-ing tomorrow.” Patricia complained of her tight belt and added that she would have a little more champagne and then call her mother and father.
Furthermore, it was clear from Clarkson’s explanation that she’s the superstitious-type of person. She refused to let anyone around her talk about winning, and if they did, they would have to turn around and spit three times to fix it.
In case you haven’t seen it, Sharp Objects is a psychological drama and mini-series based on Gillian Flynn’s first book, a novel telling the tale of two murdered young women under investigation by a tired journalist, played by Amy Adams.
