Miguel announces the name of his forthcoming album

May 2024 · 1 minute read

Following the release of his latest single ‘Sky Walker’ featuring Travis Scott, Miguel has created a huge buzz surrounding his forthcoming album by revealing its name.

War & Leisure will be the name of the singer’s highly anticipated fourth studio album. He dropped the news on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where he also performed two tracks.

Joined by three musicians, Miguel performed an acoustic version of ‘Sky Walker’. Sitting on stools and surrounded by soft lighting, the performance gave off an overall chilled vibe and allowed the singer’s vocals to take centre stage.

Miguel also performed ‘Come Through and Chill’, which is set to appear on War & Leisure. Once again, the performance was very relaxed and suited the vibe of the song.

War & Leisure will be the follow up to his 2015 album, Wildheart, which received universal acclaim. The album charted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart, selling over 40,000 copies in its first week. It also earned Miguel two Grammy Award nominations.

Whilst the album’s release date is unknown, we’re excited to know that new music is fast approaching!
