Leeds United centre-back Liam Cooper is expected to be out of action for up to eight weeks with a foot injury.
In a further blow to the Championship side, they also confirmed that Crysencio Summerville, who scored an injury time equaliser in Leeds’ 2-2 draw against Cardiff City on Sunday, will also be out for up to three weeks due to a groin strain.

The West Yorkshire club said in a statement that Cooper, 31, ruptured his plantar fascia during the match against Cardiff.
Defender Junior Firpo is still recovering from a knee ligament injury and is expected to be out for at least four more weeks.
News of the injuries will come as a blow for Leeds manager Daniel Farke due to the list of injured players that are currently unavailable for selection.
Cooper and Summerville will join Tyler Adams, Jack Harrison, Patrick Bamford, Mateo Joseph, Georginio Rutter, Stuart Dallas, Sam Greenwood and Firpo on the sidelines.
Adams, who is currently recovering from a hamstring injury, has been linked with a move away from Elland Road.
The Athletic reported earlier this month that Chelsea are set to step up their interest in USMNT international Adams, who has a release clause in his Leeds contract worth in the region of £20million.
