Jackie loves herself and her body. "My tummy has never been flat even when I was young. I always had 'puson'. I was a fat baby and even when I lost the baby fat, my pooch was always there," she wrote in one Instagram post. "Genetics does play a role in how our bodies react to what we put it through. I am a very realistic person and I've accepted that my tummy will never be flat, but I'm happy if it can get more toned, as much as my body will allow it to. I work with what I have and appreciate those improvements, no matter how small. 😀 I will continue to train, and eat as healthy as I can. That is enough for me. Let's appreciate and love our bodies, with all its strengths and flaws."
Jackie spends a lot of time exercising. Her workouts usually consist of three to four rounds of circuit training and take 45 minutes to an hour. "Knee tuck on the ball. Challenging core workout," she wrote, adding the hashtag "train hard." She also walks on the treadmill and does spinning workouts on the bike.
Jackie has some great workout buddies! "Always happy when I get to train with my children. Working out with my "bunso", @aradabao," she captioned a post. "Thank you @coachinigo for our Mother-daughter workout."
"I eat everything, but in moderation," Jackie said in one interview. In her tab devoted to healthy eating she reveals a few of her favorite healthy meals, like a veggie chicken wrap, salads with chicken, and other lean protein and veggie based meals. If she eats bread it will be sourdough because it "is easier to digest because of the presence of probiotics."
Jackie also drinks a lot of water. According to the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine men should drink about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day and women about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids.
