Jaden started his social media career on TikTok in 2019. He went viral there for posting covers of the music of various artists. Subsequently, he gained over a million followers and joined the Sway House, a content creation hub that served as a rival and contemporary to the more popular Hype House. He later left the Sway House in the middle of a controversy, in May 2020. Despite this, he continued to have growth in his fan following.
He reportedly earns at least $300k or more yearly from TikTok, based on the average rate of promotions of brands being between $2,000-$4,000 on TikTok per 1000 fans. His engagement rate is said to be over 2%.
As of 2022, he has 9.4 million followers on TikTok with 288 million likes. However, in June 2022, he deleted most of his earlier posts, leaving only five videos on his channel.
YouTube
On his YouTube channel, Jaden mainly uploads his music releases and does not release vlogging content.
His monthly income from YouTube is said to be between $955 - $15.3K, and his yearly income from YouTube is said to be $11.5K - $183.4K.
As of 2022, he has 1.47 subscribers on YouTube with over 197 million views.
Film appearances
In January 2021, Hossler appeared in Machine Gun Kelly's film Downfalls High. He played the character of the local jock.
Music Career
Hossler also began his music career in February 2020 with the release of his debut single “Comatose”, which caught the attention of Blink-182 drummer and artist Travis Barker. The latter signed him onto his label DTA Records in a joint deal with Elektra Records.
Under DTA Records, Jaden released a few more singles, “Angels & Demons", "So What" and “Pray”, the latter of which chronicled his journey with depression and was a fundraiser for suicide prevention.
In October 2020, Hossler was signed into a global co-publishing agreement with Warner Chappell Music. On October 21, 2020, he released a collaborative single with artist Iann Dior, which was titled "Tonight". On December 18, 2020, Hossler released the single "Better Off Dead", co-written by alternative artists Lauv and Blackbear, and co-produced by Travis Barker. Jxdn also revealed the title of his debut studio album Tell Me About Tomorrow, which was subsequently released in July 2021.
In January 2021, Hossler released a rock version of Olivia Rodrigo's debut single "Drivers License" which was produced by Travis Barker.
The following month, in February, Hossler featured on Nessa Barrett's single "La Di Die". The song became a hit and featured in the Top 10 listings of many music charts, including that of Billboard. The two artists, along with Barker, performed the single live for the first time on April 7, 2021, on the episode of ABC’s primetime talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and performed the song again on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on April 12, 2021.
Hossler was nominated for the Social Star award at the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards, but lost to Olivia Rodrigo.
On June 4, 2021, Hossler announced the track listing and release date for his debut album, which was announced in 2020. He released the fifth single from the album, "Think About Me". The album contains 18 songs, with Travis Barker serving as the producer.
The album was released alongside "Wanna Be", a collaborative single with Machine Gun Kelly. Hossler was an opening act on the latter’s "Tickets to My Downfall" Tour, which started in fall 2021 and also started his own "Tell Me About Tomorrow" tour which kicked off in the same month. The tour ended in 2022.
In August 2021, Hossler performed "Think About Me" as part of MTV's Push series and was nominated for Push Performance of the Year at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards.
In 2022, he released his tribute to his close friend, the late TikToker, Cooper Noriega.
