Pop’s new princess Camila Cabello has broken yet another record with sassy summer hit ‘Havana’. Following in the footsteps of global mega stars such as Mariah Carey and Bruno Mars, Cabello’s track featuring Young Thug is the first song by a female to top Billboard’s Pop, Rhythmic and Adult Pop songs chart since 1996.

There are only nine songs in total which have reached the achievement since all 3 charts have coexisted:

The success of the global hit is ongoing 7 months after its release with her follow up single ‘Never Be The Same’ also rising in the charts. Not to mention the success of her record breaking debut solo album Camila released earlier this year.

In other news this week, Cabello released a teaser via Twitter for an upcoming project in collaboration with YouTube called Made in Miami set to be released February 27.

The ex-Fifth Harmony group member also confirmed in an exclusive interview with Dan Wootton for Lorraine that she simply left the group so she could “express herself freely in any way”.
